U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Jessi Fowler, left, and Lance Cpl. Michael Franklin, both low altitude air defense gunners with the 12th Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, employs the FIM-92 Stinger to provide security for any incoming enemy aircrafts during Resolute Dragon 25 on Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 21, 2025. Resolute Dragon 25 is an annual bilateral exercise in Japan that strengthens the command, control, and multi-domain maneuver capabilities of U.S. Marines in Ill Marine Expeditionary Force and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel, with a focus on controlling and defending key maritime terrain.
