This photo displays the landing beaches utilized by U.S. Marines during the Battle of Iwo Jima on present-day Iwo To, Japan, May 24, 2024. U.S. Marines and Sailors 12th Marine Littoral Regiment had the opportunity to hike Mt. Suribachi during a PME, providing direct exposure to one of the most historic battle sites in Marine Corps History.
